VISION STATEMENT
We empower school-aged children in the City of Kettering to overcome obstacles caused by poverty.
OUR EFFORTS
The Kettering Backpack Program, formally known as Kettering Backpack Inc., is a 501c(3), not-for-profit organization with one goal: to fight childhood hunger.
The program discreetly provides at-risk students with a bag of food at the end of each school week. This food helps to sustain the students’ nutritional needs over the weekends when school breakfasts and lunches are not available.
Helping our children become successful students and future leaders can be accomplished only with the help of our volunteers and community.
